In recent years the Dominican Republic has become one of the world?s premier golf destinations. The courses are very high quality and amongst the most scenic and spectacular layouts worldwide with the turquoise Caribbean as the backdrop. The Melia Caribe Tropical is a luxurious hotel located on the beachfront of the idyllic Bavaro Beach, regarded as one of the world?s best beaches, in Punta Cana on the east coast of the Dominican Republic.

We are staying in ?The Level? which is an exclusive boutique hotel within the grounds of the main hotel which offers personalised attention and superb service. Our accommodation is in the one bedroom suites in the ?Only Adults? area of The Level which has its own private beach, bars and restaurants.

The package is all inclusive and the facilities at the Melia Caribe Tropical include:

?       12 restaurants including French, Italian, Thai, Japanese and seafood restaurants;

Trip Advisor ? We have carried extensive research in deciding where to stay in the Dominican Republic.  The reviews on Trip Advisor score the hotel facilities very highly with the only negative issues referring to some slow service which we are assured will not be the case when we visit as a group.  Many of the hotels that rated higher were family orientated but we have specifically booked The Level Only Adults

Flights to Dominican Republic:

British Airways fly direct to Punta Cana from Gatwick on a Saturday.  Punta Cana airport is only 20 minutes from the hotel and transfers are included.  There are plenty of indirect flight options
