Clubhouse open from: 7.00am

 

Pro shop open from: approx. 8.00am

 

Registration:  The registration desk will be set up in the Clubhouse from 7.00am.

 

Tee Times:  Play starts at 8.00am from the first and sixth tees and again at 13.30pm. Please check you tee time within 24 hrs of the event as there may be a need to alter times.

 

Scoring Format:  Play will be in threeballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 30 for ladies.

Championship Event: The winner over 36 holes will qualify for the EAGT Final in October.

To be eligible to accept this prize a competitor must have previously played in at least three Tour events or must play in five subsequent Tour events before the Final. If a competitor does not comply with the above they cannot accept the automatic place in the UK Final.

 

 

Practice facilities: There is no practice ground at New Zealand. There is one warm up net by the first tee.

There is a very good driving range at Silvermere Golf Club approximately 15 minutes away.  Silvermere GC - Redhill Rd, Cobham, Surrey KT11 1EF   01932 584300 

 

Course planners:  Available from the pro shop, approx. £3.00 each

 

Buggy & trolley hire

Buggies are very limited in number.  Charges are £25 / rnd or £45 / day. 

Electric trolleys are available - £15 / day

Pull trolleys are available - £5 / day

On course refreshments:  There is a halfway house accessible from the 7th and 13th tees. Sandwiches, sweets and drinks are available.

 

Prizes:  Each round will be a separate competition and both will count towards the Order of Merit. There will be prizes for at least the first, second and third place each round plus an overall 36 hole prize.  There will also be two Nearest the Pin Competitions.  The presentation will take place shortly after the last match has finished.

 

Nearest the Pin: There will be two Nearest the Pin Competitions, morning and afternoon and the winners will each a £25 EAGT voucher.

 

Catering: A rolling  carvery will be served in between rounds and a snack will be available following the second round. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket & tie in the Dining Room at lunchtime.

 

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £10 per round to include a 2s, a competition sweep and an overall 36 hole sweep.

 

EAGT Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. CONGU Qualifier: This event will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event so you will need to know your exact playing handicap when you check in. A Competition Standard Scratch Score will be calculated and handicaps will be amended according to CONGU guidelines..

 

Shorts:  If you wish to wear shorts they must be tailored and socks can be white ankle length

 

Dress: Gentlemen MUST wear a jacket & tie in the Dining Room at lunchtime.

 

GPS range finding equipment: The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.

 

Late Cancellation:  Please note that we have submitted numbers to the golf club and they will make a charge for late cancellation.
