  • Golf Courses

    Royal Bang Pa-In Golf Club

Royal Bang Pa-In is a modern championship course set along the Chao Phraya River, known for its immaculate conditioning and striking design. With wide fairways, bold bunkering, and stunning water features on nearly every hole, it delivers a fun yet challenging round for all skill levels. The facilities are first class, with a stylish clubhouse, excellent service, and peaceful surroundings just outside the hustle of Bangkok.

    Nikanti Golf Club

Nikanti flips the script on traditional golf experiences with its innovative 6-6-6 layout: three loops of six holes, each with a balanced mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s. It’s Thailand’s most modern and inclusive course, offering all-inclusive golf – green fee, cart, caddie, and even meals. With world-class conditioning, seamless service, and a futuristic clubhouse, Nikanti is as slick as it gets.

Alpine Golf & Sports Club – Ranked No. 3 in Thailand

Alpine is one of Thailand’s most prestigious golf courses, famously hosting the 2000 Johnnie Walker Classic where Tiger Woods triumphed. Designed by Ronald M. Garl, it features undulating fairways, slick greens, and dramatic bunkering, set against a backdrop of mature trees and beautiful landscaping. It’s a tough but fair test of golf – a must-play for serious players.

Amata Spring Country Club – Ranked No. 2 in Thailand

Home to elite international events like the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship and LPGA events, Amata Spring is one of Asia’s top private clubs – and a rare treat for visiting golfers. With flawless fairways, ultra-fast greens, and the iconic floating island green on the 17th hole, it’s a course that delivers both challenge and spectacle. Playing here is a genuine “bucket list” experience.

    Ballyshear Golf Links

Designed by Gil Hanse and inspired by the legendary Lido Golf Club of Long Island, Ballyshear is a unique links-style course unlike anything else in Thailand. With wide, rumpled fairways, creative green complexes, and a strong sense of strategy over brute force, it’s a thinking golfer’s paradise. The course delivers an old-school golf experience with a modern twist, wrapped in stylish presentation and first-class hospitality.

  • Format and Handicaps

Format:  The scoring format each day will be individual Stableford.

Handicaps:  Playing Handicap will be set at 95% of Course Handicap. The maximum Playing Handicaps are 24 for men and 30 for ladies. If your handicap exceeds these limits, you can still play, but for competition purposes, you’ll play off these limits.

All five rounds will be run under the World Handicap System (WHS). Scores will not automatically be forwarded to your Golf Union.  Participants MUST return their daily scores to their golf club. The easiest way to do this is to forward the email from Golf Genius, which will be received after each round, and provides details of your scores.

GAGT Overseas Handicap System (OHA):  Handicaps will be adjusted after each round in line with the GAGT OHA system. The GAGT OHA system is based on the CONGU handicap system prior to the introduction of WHS. Adjustments made by the GAGT OHA system will not affect your club Handicap Index.

The GAGT OHA system takes precedence over adjustments made by a player’s home club to ensure consistency. Details of the GAGT OHA system can be provided upon request.

Daily Draw:  The draw for the first two rounds will be available on the website a week before the event.

The draw for the last round will be made in score order.

In the last round, the leaders will go out last.

Participants can use the message facility in their Locker/Account for requests such as playing partners and early or late tee times. The organisers will do their best to accommodate these requests.

Bangkok is buzzing with energy in March, making it a great time to combine world-class golf with exploring Thailand’s street food, night markets, temples, and cultural attractions.
