ONE DAY - 36 HOLES - TWO OoM EVENTS 

GENERAL COMPETITOR INFORMATION

 

Detailed Competitor Information will be emailed to all entrants and put on website approximately 7/10 days before each event.  The Drawsheet will be issued approximately 4/5 days before the event.

 

A £40 deposit is required at the time of entry to confirm a place in the event.

 

Full payment is due one calendar month before the event unless otherwise stated.

 

If full payment has not been made one calendar month before the event we cannot guarantee your entry and someone on the reserve list may take your place.

 

The package price will include: coffee / tea & bacon rolls on arrival; morning round; light lunch; afternoon round; meal following play – usually served on a rolling basis; prize presentation just after last match finishes.

 

CDH number: All new competitors must provide their CDH number. This is the unique number issued to each golf club member by their Home Golf Union and it enables us to check your handicap and for your handicap to be updated following EAGT events.

 

Golfers from overseas will need to provide proof of handicap.

 

CONGU qualifiers: The Tour has CONGU status and all the events in the UK will be run as CONGU qualifying events.

 

Playing one round: At some events it will be possible to just play one round and there will be a reduction of £20 on the overall package.

 

Scoring Format:  Play will be in three or fourballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies.

 

Tees: Men – generally white unless not permitted by club      Ladies – Red

 

Prizes:  There will be prizes for at least the first, second and third place for each round plus an overall 36 hole prize.  There will also be two Nearest the Pin Competitions.  The presentation will take place shortly after the last match has finished.

 

Order of Merit: Each round will be a separate competition and both will count towards the Order of Merit. Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. You will need to be a current member of the Tour to qualify for merit points.

 

Catering: Coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, some clubs serve a dinner at lunch time and then sandwiches after the second round. Other clubs serve a light lunch and then a dinner following the second round. Full details will appear in the detailed Competitor Information for each event.

 

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £10 per round to include a 2s sweep, a competition sweep and an overall 36 hole competition sweep.

 

Dress: Some clubs require jacket & tie. Details will be provided in the Comp Info.

 

Buggies & caddies: Buggies and caddies may be used but must be booked directly with the golf club.

 

GPS and laser range finding equipment: The use of GPS and laser range finding devices is permitted.
