The package is based on B&B on twin / double occupancy unless you have requested a single room. The hotel facilities include a Spa and gym, restaurant and bar. It is advisable to book any Spa treatments in advance.

Car parking:  The Vincent Hotel is located in the middle of Southport and parking is limited.  We have negotiated a 50% discount on the hotel valet parking which is now £7.50 per day.  There are also options for Pay & Display and an NCP cap park within a couple of minutes walk of the hotel.

Tee Times: The Draw for the first two rounds will be on the website by 5pm on Thursday 3^rd September. If you specifically require early or late tee times please use the message facility in your Locker / account.

If you are not playing all four rounds please check the list below to make sure we have included you at the right courses. Please email info@gmmltd.co.uk if we need to make changes.

The draw for Wednesday will be made on Tuesday and the draw for the last round will be made in score order with the leaders going out last.

Registration on Monday:  The registration desk will be set up in the clubhouse from 10.00am.

Scoring Format:  Play will be in threeballs for the first three rounds.  The scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance.  The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 30 for ladies.

CONGU Qualifier: Each round will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event. A Competition Standard Scratch Score will be calculated after each round and handicaps will be amended according to CONGU guidelines. Handicaps can be adjusted up or down after each round and competitors must play off their adjusted handicap in the next round.

Prizes:  There will be prizes for the leading three scores each day. The player with the best aggregate score over the four rounds will qualify for the 2015 Tour Final. To be eligible to win this prize you must play a minimum of seven rounds on the schedule of events qualifying for 2015, that is a further three rounds after the English Open.

Presentation Dinner:  There will be an informal presentation dinner on Wednesday evening and we will present the prizes for the first three rounds. The presentation for Thursday’s competition will take place shortly after the last match finishes at Royal Birkdale.

Nearest the Pin competitions: There will be two Nearest the Pin competitions per round and the prize will be a dozen Nike balls per winner.

Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. You will need to be a current member of the EAGT to qualify for merit points.

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £40 which will include a 2’s and competition sweep per round and an overall sweep for the 72 hole competition.

Dress Code:  Jackets and tie ARE NOT required in any of the golf clubs

Shorts:  White ankle length socks are acceptable at each course, shorts must be tailored.

GPS range finding equipment: The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.
