ONE ROUND EVENTS

 

GENERAL COMPETITOR INFORMATION

 

 

Detailed Competitor Information will be emailed to all entrants and put on website approximately 7/10 days before each event.  The Drawsheet will be issued on the website approximately 7 days before the event.

 

A ?40 deposit is required at the time of entry to confirm a place in the event.

Full payment is due one calendar month before the event unless otherwise stated.

If full payment has not been made one calendar month before the event we cannot guarantee your entry and someone on the reserve list may take your place.

 

The package price will include: coffee / tea & bacon rolls on arrival, one competition round, dinner following play, prize presentation during dinner.

 

Handicap Certificate: All new competitors will be asked to show a current handicap certificate as proof of handicap.

 

CONGU qualifiers: The Tour has CONGU status and all the events in the UK will be run as CONGU qualifying events. It is the responsibility of every player to ensure that their scores are submitted back to their golf club. For members of golf clubs in England this will generally be done automatically through the Central Database of Handicaps.

 

Scoring Format: Play will be in three or fourballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 30 for ladies.

 

Tees: Men ? generally white unless not permitted by club               Ladies ? Red

 

Prizes: There will be prizes for at least the first, second and third place and two Nearest the Pin Competitions. The presentation will take place shortly after the last match has finished.

 

Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. You will need to be a current member of the Tour to qualify for merit points.

 

Sweep: There will be an optional sweep of ?5 per person to include a 2s sweep and a competition sweep.

 

Dress: Some clubs require jacket & tie. Details will be provided in the Competitor Information.

 

Buggies & caddies: Buggies and caddies may be used but must be booked directly with the golf club.

 

GPS and laser range finding equipment: The use of GPS and laser range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.

 

Late Cancellation: If you withdraw within one calendar month of the event date you may still be liable for full payment depending on the clubs policy.
