COMPETITOR INFORMATION

Thursday 12th & Friday 13th March

Package Includes:

• One round on the West Course on Thursday commencing at 10.30am followed by the presentation dinner in clubhouse at approx 4.30pm;
• Accommodation on Thursday night in the Barnstaple Hotel based on twin share unless you have booked a single room;
• One round on the East Course on Friday commencing at 9.30am followed by lunch served on a rolling basis. The presentation for the second round will take place shortly after play finishes.

Tee Times: The draw for Thursday is on the website, click on the West Course Entries button above to view.  Play starts from the first tee at 10:30am at 10 minute intervals.

The draw for Friday will be on the website by 5.00pm on Monday.

Registration:  The registration desk will be set up in the clubhouse from 9.00am.

Handicap Certificate:  If this is your first Tour event please remember to bring your handicap certificate and your CONGU number.

Scoring Format:  Play will be in fourballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies.

Tees:               Men – TBC                   Ladies – Red

Practice Facilities:  There is a practice range.  Balls are not included and tokens are available from the pro shop.

Prizes:  There will be prizes for first, second, third place each day. The presentation for Thursday will take place during the dinner on Thursday and the presentation for Friday will take place shortly after the last match finishes.

Nearest the Pin: There will be two Nearest the Pin Competitions.

Catering: Coffee & bacon rolls on arrival on Thursday.  A two course carvery will be served at approximately 4.30pm on Thursday.  Lunch will be served on a rolling basis on Friday after play. Drinks & sweets are available in the pro shop. There is no halfway house on either course

EAGT Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on.

You will need to be a current member of the EAGT to qualify for merit points. You can check your membership status and join by calling Janet on 0845 466 2222. The subscription fee is £40 for 12 months from the day you join.

CONGU Qualifier: This event will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event..

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £5 per person per round to include a 2s sweep and a competition sweep.Sweep will be collected on Thursday.

Dress:  Jackets and ties and the equivalent for ladies ARE NOT required..

Late Cancellation:  Please note that if you cancel within a week of the event taking place the club WILL charge in full for late cancellation.

GPS range finding equipment: The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.
