Information for Competitors

Your prize includes three nights, bed & breakfast at the four star Aberdeen Marriott Hotel, dinner each evening and three rounds, including a practice round on the highly acclaimed Trump International Golf Links, Aberdeen.

Itinerary:

Friday 2nd October

• Optional practice round – tee booked from 10.30am – 1.20pm
• Following golf check in to hotel from 3.00pm.
• Informal welcome dinner in the Aberdeen Marriott Hotel

Saturday 3rd October

• Breakfast in the hotel
• First round of Tour Final - matches tee off from 9.30am in Order of Merit points order
• Informal dinner in the Aberdeen Marriott Hotel

Sunday 4^th October

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Second round of Tour Final - matches tee off from 9.30am in score order with leaders teeing off last.
• Pre dinner drinks from 7.30pm
• Presentation Dinner in the Hotel from 8.15pm

Monday 5^th October

• Check out and pay for extras
• Depart hotel after breakfast

The Marriott Hotel is only 2 miles from Aberdeen International Airport.

Hotel facilities include:  Bar and two restaurants, Marriott leisure club including swimming pool

Your prize includes shared accommodation for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  If you require additional nights or a single room or you are taking a partner please contact Janet on 0845 466 2222 to pay these charges before you depart for Scotland.

Golf Course Transfers:

The Marriott Hotel is approximately 12 miles / 20 minutes from Trump International Links and we need to know how many people will require transport from the hotel to the golf course each day so we can arrange the appropriate vehicles.  Please let us know asap by email to info@gmmltd.co.uk if you require hotel / golf course transfers

Dress Code: 

You will be required to wear a jacket & tie, and the equivalent for ladies at the Presentation Dinner on Sunday evening. The dinners on Friday and Saturday are informal and the dress code is smart casual.  At all other times the hotel request that the dress code is smart casual.

Friday 2nd October – Practice round

We are currently holding tee times between 9.30am and 1.20pm. If you wish to book a practice tee time please email us on info@gmmltd.co.uk.

Saturday 3rd October - First round draw:

The order of play will be on the basis of your final position in the Order of Merit with the leaders going out last. Play starts at 9.30am. The first round draw will be on the website www.eagt.co.uk by 5.00pm on Thursday 1st October.

Sunday 4^th October - Second round draw:

The order of play will be on the basis of your score in the first round with the leaders going out last and play starts at 9.30am

Tees: Men – TBA                  Ladies – TBA

2015 Order of Merit Winners:  The final positions in both the 2015 Worldwide and UK Orders of Merit will be calculated on the basis of a competitors best nine merit scores which may or may not include the two rounds played at Trump International.

2015 Tour Final Winners:  The results will be decided over two rounds of Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance.  Any ties over 36 holes will be decided on a card playoff on the second 18 holes, 9 holes, 6 holes etc.

CONGU Qualifier: This event will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event so you will need to know your exact playing handicap when you check in. A Competition Standard Scratch Score will be calculated and handicaps will be amended according to CONGU guidelines.

Practice: The facilities are excellent and range balls will be provided.

Buggies: Only available with a medical certificate and they must be driven by a caddie.  £45 + gratuity per round

Caddies: Very limited numbers available. £45 + gratuity.  Book directly caddiemaster@trumpgolfscotland.com

Electric trolleys:  Only 11 available - £20 per round – we have reserved them all

GPS Range finding equipment: The use of GPS and laser equipment is permitted.
