FLIGHTS:

There are no direct flights from the UK to Charleston which is the closest airport to Kiawah Island.

Delta has three flights a day from Heathrow to Atlanta and one flight a day from Manchester to Atlanta.  There are flights on an hourly basis from Atlanta to Charleston. 

BA has one flight a day from London Heathrow to Atlanta departs 15.25 arrives 19.30

Another option is to fly into New York, flights are more regular and fares more competitive, then take an internal flight of about 2 hrs to Charleston.

Alternatively there is one direct flight a day with US Airways from London Heathrow to Charlotte.  The flight departs Heathrow at 10.05 and arrives into Charlotte at 14.00.  Charlotte International Airport is 200 miles from Charleston and the journey to Charleston is 3 hours by road.
