A scenic par-71 course by Ron Kirby, where volcanic rock valleys (“barrancos”) must be carried on certain holes. The layout blends seamlessly with the natural beauty of the coastline, offering a balance of challenge and charm.

Saturday 7 February 2026 – First Tee Time: 07:40 hrs

Course: Championship Course at Anfi Tauro Golf 

Return to the Arizona-inspired Championship Course for an early morning round in the stunning coastal setting. Enjoy the immaculate fairways and varied hole designs one last time before departure.

Welcome Drinks are included to give everyone the chance to meet fellow competitors at the start of the week. This will take place on the evening of Tuesday 3rd February in one of the hotel bars, providing a relaxed and friendly setting to socialise, get to know each other, and look forward to the days of golf ahead.

Golf course transfers are included for all players. Comfortable transport will be provided directly from the Lopesan Baobab Resort to each scheduled golf course, allowing you to relax and focus on your game without the hassle of arranging travel. Transfer times will be provided closer to the event.

The scoring format each day will be individual Stableford with 95% handicap allowance. All four rounds will count towards the 2026 Orders of Merit.

The draw for the first two rounds will be on the website at least 48 hours before the first round. The draw for the last round will be made in score order with the leaders going out last.     

All four rounds will be run under the WHS system, but scores will NOT automatically be forwarded to your Golf Union. 

You MUST return your daily scores to your golf club and the easiest way to do this is to forward the email from Golf Genius, which you will receive after each round and which provides details of your scores.

The maximum playing handicap limits will be 24 for men and 30 for ladies. 

Where appropriate handicaps will be adjusted after each round in line with the GAGT OHA system which is based on the CONGU handicap system prior to the introduction of WHS, details of which we can provide. Any adjustments will not affect your club Handicap Index.

The GAGT OHA system will take precedence over any adjustments made by a player’s home club so that everyone is operating on the same system as some clubs are slow to update overseas scores.

There will be prizes for the leading three scores each day.

To avoid any excess baggage charges prizes will be in the form of vouchers for the Tour as follows:

There will be two Nearest the Pin competitions per round. 

Daily vouchers: 1st - £100, 2nd - £70, 3rd - £50       

Overall vouchers:  1st - £150, 2nd £125, 3rd - £100

All golf courses featured in the event have a driving range available for practice. Range balls will be included, giving players the opportunity to warm up or work on their swing before their round.

There will be an optional sweep of €40 (€10 per round) which will be split evenly between a 2’s and competition sweep per round.  The sweep will be paid out each day. 

Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. 

To be eligible for merit points you need to be a current member of the GAG Tour for an annual subscription of £40.
