COMPETITOR INFORMATION

ONE DAY - 36 HOLES - TWO OoM EVENTS

Package Includes:  Coffee/tea & bacon rolls on arrival, one round AM, two course carvery lunch served on a rolling basis, one round PM, followed by a prize presentation.

Tee Times:  Play will be in threeballs and start at 8.30am and 2.00pm in the afternoon.  If you require an early or late tee time or you wish to play with a certain person/s please make your request via the Message facility in your Locker/Account.

The draw will be on the website by 5.00pm on Monday, 3rd June.

Registration:  The registration desk will be set up in The Clubhouse from 8.00am.

Practice facilities:  The club has a practice ground but you need to provide your own balls and collect them after.  There are two practice nets, a putting green and a chipping area.

Yardage books:  £4 each available from The Pro Shop.

Buggy & trolley hire:  These can be reserved through The Pro Shop by calling Carl on 01483 769582.  Buggies are generally only available for medical reasons and a disclaimer must be signed before use. 

Please note that you must not take buggies through the (ecologically fragile) heather.

Is the course soft spikes only?:  No.

Scoring Format:  Play will be in threeballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies. 

Tees/Score balancing:  Where permitted we offer gentlemen the option to play from the forward/yellow tees or from the further back white tees.

Everyone plays in the same competition and handicaps will be adjusted in line with the SSS from the selected tees.  Gentlemen playing from the Yellow tees and ladies playing from the Red tees will play off their regular handicap.

Prizes:  There will be prizes for at least the first, second and third place each round plus an overall 36 hole prize.  The presentation will take place shortly after the last match has finished.

SAGT Order of Merit:  Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. Nearest the Pin:  There will be two Nearest the Pin Competitions each round.

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £10 per round to include a 2s sweep, a competition sweep and an overall 36 hole competition sweep. 

Dress:  Jacket required for the dining room.  Please also remove hats in The Clubhouse and please note golf shoes and shorts are not allowed in the Lounge or Dining Room.

GPS range finding equipment:  The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour. 

Late Cancellation:  Please note that we have submitted numbers to the golf club and they WILL make a charge for late cancellation.
