We are staying in the Trump Villas, previously referred to as the Turnberry Lodges.

Breakfast will be served in the main hotel and in the clubhouse.

Tee times:

The draws for Sunday & Monday will be on the website by 5.00pm on Wednesday 28th March .  The draw for Tuesday will be made in score order with the leaders playing last.  If you require an early or late tee time due to your flight arrival etc please make your request via the Message facility in your Locker / Account.

 

Practice:  Range balls are included and will be available on the Driving Range.

 

Yardage booklet:  You will receive a welcome pack including tees, pencils and a course guide.

 

Caddies, electric trolleys and buggies:

All the above must be booked directly via the pro shop on 01655 334048. 

Caddie fees are £50 per round + gratuity.  The gratuity is paid directly to the caddie.

Electric trolleys are £20 per round  

Buggies are only available on medical grounds and for insurance purposes they must be driven by a caddie.  The total cost is £90.

Halfway House:  The iconic lighthouse at Turnberry is now the halfway house and an obligatory 10 minute stop is factored into each round.

 

Scoring Format:  Play will be in fourballs each day.  The scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance.  The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 30 for ladies.

 

Prizes:  Each round will be a separate competition and all three will count towards the UK Order of Merit. There will be prizes for at least the leading three scores in each round and the 54 hole overall winner will qualify for the 2018 Tour Final..

 

UK Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on.

 

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £35 to cover all three rounds & the overall competition and 2’s. We will collect the sweep at check in on Saturday morning.

 

Dress Code:  Jackets and tie ARE NOT required. The dress code in the hotel is smart casual and the usual dress code applies on the golf course.

 

Restaurants: There are two restaurants – the ‘1906’ in the hotel is the more formal restaurant and the ‘Duel in the Sun’ in the clubhouse is more casual dining.  It is recommended that you book in advance particularly on Saturday evening – tel 01655 331000

 

Spa: The Spa at Turnberry has been recently refurbished and it offers a complete range of treatments.  It is recommended that you book any treatments in advance - tel 01655 331000.

 

Evening Socialising:  Experience has shown that most people like to make their own arrangements for evening meals.  However on Sunday night we have booked for 20 at The Wildings Restaurant which is approx. 1 mile from Turnberry.  The Wildings offers a range of local meat and fish.
