If booking for two couples, please be aware that one couple will share the king bed, while the other couple can either have separate twin beds or a double bed, depending on preference.

**The tee times at Quinta do Lago North on Monday 19th January are booked from 8:32am onwards. Please tell us if you plan to fly into Faro on that morning so we can allocate you a later tee time.

GAGT Order of Merit points awarded for each competition round

There will be prizes for the leading three scores each day and Overall.

To avoid any excess baggage charges, prizes will be in the form of vouchers for the GAGT as follows:

Daily: 1st - £100, 2nd - £70, 3rd - £50

Overall: 1st - £175, 2nd £150, 3rd - £125

Nearest the Pin (2 per round): £25


There will be an optional sweep of €40 (€10 per round) which will be split evenly between a 2’s and competition sweep per round. The sweep is payable in Euros. We will collect the sweep when you check in for the first round. The sweep will be paid out each day. To enter please bring cash!

Should you wish to hire a car we can recommend EPI Rent a car that will meet you at Faro airport with your car and meet you at the airport on return.  They are offering us discounted rates and you just need to say you are part of the GMM Ltd Group to access these special rates.

Airport transfers are not included but Vale do Lobo is only 20 minutes by taxi from Faro Airport and the fare is approximately €30.

Golf course transfers are not included.  Uber and taxis are very reasonable and generally very efficient on the Algarve. 

Shared buggies are included.

If you have any requests for early or late tee times, or specific playing partners, please use the message facility in your Locker/account. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Please ensure that you have adequate travel and medical insurance cover for the duration of your stay in Portugal.

Not all the local restaurants will be open, but we will recommend a different restaurant each evening for those who wish to remain as part of the group. You will be completely free to do what you wish in the evenings.

The weather on the Algarve in January can be changeable and we advise you to bring some warm clothing and your waterproofs just in case. The dress code for the evenings is casual.
